Welcome 2003! Happy New Year at the Caledon Seniors Centre
2002 was a year to remember! It was a year like no other! Our Christmas Celebration and our New Year’s Welcome promises to ensure a 2003 that will be even better! You, our dedicated Members and friends, through your active participation have made it, and will make it so! A special Thank You to our “Media Volunteers” who each month provide us with the means to communicate the words you are reading and hopefully, help you enjoy our Centre. Our sincerest Thank You! And Best Wishes, for your continued help and support. Yes, Words are important but Actions speak louder! Our Program and Travel committees have put together a Calendar of Events that will excite and entertain you with “taste treats” for your enjoyment. Our Monday and Wednesday Lunches, 12.00 noons, have become the place to be to enjoy good food, entertainment and fellowship. Birthday Lunch on the first Wednesday of each month is a “highlight”. Come out and celebrate yours with us. January Babies, a Happy birthday waits.

MEMBERSHIP IS DUE: It is Membership Time and you can renew or secure your new membership anytime at the office. What a deal! $12 dollars/ year gives you membership in the finest Seniors Club available to you. Renew your membership now! Remember, a non-member, a guest, will be charged an extra $1 fee for attending a program on top of the basic program fee. Your membership guarantees first opportunity to register for all trips, special events and bonuses. Do it now! All regularly scheduled activities are getting back in full swing after our Holiday break. JANUARY HIGHLIGHTS TO NOTE!
New*** EXERCISE CLASSES! Starting Monday, January 6. 11.00a.m to 12.00p.m Monday and Wednesdays. Susan Haughton, Certified Seniors Fitness Instructor will conduct classes emphasizing strength training, and cardio balance. Come and join us for fun movement and education. Contact the Centre For all details and registration. A “walkabout” is great but a walk in to our Centre is better. Treat yourself kindly at our Exercise classes!

Thursday, 9, Probus 10.00a.m. Excellent speakers and fellowship. Come out and meet us. Guests are welcome.

Monday, 13, 12.00noon. Spaghetti Lunch Special! “ O sol amio” Fork wrapping and slurping instruction provided. Al dente guaranteed! Ample napkins too.

Wednesday, 22, Stage West Trip, “British Invasion” SOLD OUT! Waiting List only. All trips are in company with Meals on Wheels. You must register early to Ensure your seat. Members have first choice. If you are not a member, join now!

***MEMBERS NOTE: Our ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Sunday, January 26, 2.00p.m. We enter our 8th. Year. Your support to our President Elect, Patricia Everson and our Executive will help ensure a 2003 second to none! Our Constitution Committee are to be commended on the Constitution and By-Laws document which has been prepared and will be presented by your Board of Directors for Members approval and Acceptance. Copies of the document are available at the Centre. YOUR VOTE COUNTS! There are a number of important Centre matters, which will be reviewed with you for your update. If you are unable to attend, please arrange for a Proxy vote for you. Forms are available in the office. For further information call (905) 951-6114.
